Tis Jolly!

Well, I hope everybody had a very merry Christmas, and soon a happy New Year!

Decided to post some of my presents I got. And a picture of me at my family's boxing day picnic.

I rather like the little pink and gray bows, I can clip them into my hair you see. You will probably see an outfit post of me wearing them VERY soon. The first picture is of a nice little collection of bath things from my Auntie, (bath salts, soap, oil, etc.), and the next photo is a 2011 diary from my other Auntie. It's perfect for school (we have to have diarys at my high school that I'm going to), it even has little games to do in the back, for when I'm bored in class! Haha. Mmm, next picture, looks like I've got chocolate on everything already!
*sigh*

I am very tired, woke up at 11.30am this morning, got up at 11.40am. I have 1 month and few days, till I need to start high school. I'm planning on getting my uniform and posting a picture of me wearing it. But I'm trying not to think of school to much, and just enjoy my summer holiday.
Speaking of which:
My Top Ten Favourite Things To Do In The Summer:
10. Forget about school.
9. Go biking.
8. Go swimming at the beach.
7. Go swimming at the pool.
6. Get a new summer look, and wardrobe.
5. Eat summer fruit and food.
4. Go shopping.
3. Watch the sunset.
2. Dance under the sprinklers.
1. Blog about it.
Sound good? Maybe not number 1. but hey, that's what I'm gonna do isn't it? haha.
Have a good one.

Citizenship

This is me, in my school uniform, holding the citizenship cup I was awarded at my end of school prize giving. It's been such a good year! Yeah, I know this photo looks so cheesy, but I just HAD to post it, mwahahaha.

I probably won't get round to doing another post until after Christmas, so I hope all have a Merry one!

Yours truly,

Suzannah

festive

Tis the season to be jolly, so why not wear christmas decorations round your neck?
I recycled unwanted beads for the tree to make this very festive necklace.

What happened to those days?

Sure I've missed out a few decades, but you should get my point?
Actually, I don't even get my point, what am I saying??
Look how style has changed over the decades?
Glamour to colour?

My christmas...

A few of my decorations, and my Christmas tree. Ignore our hideous curtains in the background.
This outfit is for my yr 8 leaving dinner in a few days. I wore it now to show you because I know I won't have time to post it on that day, because I will be flat out tired (we will also be going on a yr 8 school trip that day, and when we come back, I will ave to get ready quickly for the dinner at home).
Anyway, I thought it was nice and summery. It WAS a maxi dress, but it shrank in the wash (*sob*), so now its kind of a long, but not really, dress. I don't mind, it's a bit different that's all.
I wish you all a very merry, winter Christmas (for those reading this, who are in winter).
I can't really imagine it being snowy on Christmas, it's sun all around for us in New Zealand.

I'm in love with these..

These pictures, and clothes are from Portmans. There website here

I love a bit of cream and ruffles.
I know I said I would post pictures of christmas deco, but this came up, soo... yeah. I love the head wrap in the first pictures, all the jewellery, and the long dress in the third picture.
What about you? Do you see the same lovelyness in these clothes as I do?

Summer Holiday Fashion Pin Board.

I made this summer fashion display board to put on my wall, so that I don't go and spend my money on clothes that I'm not really going to wear...

I've decided that my summer style these holidays, is going to be based on: Lace and Pastel colours.

With my hair: Curly or in plaits

I'm going to try and avoid wearing BLACK, but not completely, as I have just got some high waisted black shorts.

In a few words I guess you could describe the style as... feminine, light and relaxed. It's a mix of skirts, pink shoes, fake pearls and singlet tops.

Mmm.. all of these magazine cut outs are from my all time favourite mag: Girlfriend

I just can't wait until the summer holidays! My friends and I are planning on going on a big shopping spree, because I want a whole new look for the new year.

Merry Christmas!

PS: I'm going to post some pictures of my Christmas tree, and decorations in my next post!

The silly season (and tennis) is upon me.

This outfit was inspired by my school P.E teacher, and I dedicate this post to YOU. haha. I'm so funny. Well what can I say? It is the tennis season (I think). I found this ancient racket behind the door of my mum and dads bedroom and took FULL advantage. Oh and by the way in the first photo I am not attempting to smile, I'm in the middle of talking!
Soo... What do think of the cap and glasses? I reckon they rock!
Anywaaay... I spent my afternoon rolling failed chocolate fudge in cocoa, to make them look like they were meant to be truffles. They taste pretty good I must say. There is just something about making fudge that is a fraction to tricky.
I must get back to eating sea salted chips now. So TTFN!

PS: It would totally make my day if you followed me. :)

Disco Stu

Yes I know Nicole has her eyes shut in the first image, but I needed a full shot of our outfits. :)
These were our school disco outfits! We danced away the whole night!

The Beach

My mint friend Becky organised a trip to the beach. It was soo unbelievably hot, there was lots of us there but I wasn't to sure if they wanted me to put photos of them on my blog. I wore my rainbow tankini, with stripy jandals, straw hat, aviators and my friends pink stripy sarong as you can see in the pictures.
I'm really looking forward to the summer holidays!
*Christmas
*Beach Trips
*Movies
*Sun
*Relaxing
Then all of a sudden I'll be very nervous about my first day of high school!
Unfortunately there is a uniform I will have to wear to high school and it goes a little something like this...
Navy blue, green and yellow summer dress.
Knee high navy blue socks.
Black shoes.
Green Jumper thing.
Then a long kilt for winter same colours as the dress.
White collar top.
Baah.
Very original. ae.
Happy summer! All though there will be people from all over the globe reading this...
Sooo.. happy seasons!

Halloween...

You can't see, but in this photo I'm wearing Black Fairy Wings.
(I'm the bad fairy)

And even though most of you who are reading this don't know what my hair is really like (unless they have seen my older posts), I now have a full fringe, and I really like it. I'm going to try and grow my hair long, I normally have straight hair, but in this photo I have 'boofed' 'teased' and 'curled' my hair.

I went to a Halloween party, instead of 'trick or treating', it was really fun! I brought home 6 chocolate bars from it, and I only have 1 left now. i.e I ate them for breakfast.

Lace, pink, flowers and bows..

Ohhh, this whole collection from Trelise Cooper Kids is just tooooo cute! I love those big bows in the first picture! To see the rest of the collection go to fashionz.
Mmmm.... not much to say today, other than we did P.E at school for the whole day (training for athletics) which is why I am to tired to type any more than this.
Thank you to my followers so far... I do hope to get more though.
Suzannah.

NZFW Zambesi

All picture credit to Fashionz.
Mmmm, how would you describe this style? Modern? The models are kind of like works of art, with their facial markings, high tech clothes and hair styles. The whole show looks quite futuristic, if that is the right word for it I'm not sure? Image 1 looks like something from out of space! Don't get me wrong I do like that style, it's very creative. I suppose Image 4, isn't as wild as the others, I would happily wear that anywhere. Most of them look like winter clothes.
When I'm older, I would love to be part of New Zealand Fashion Week. But I'm only 12, so it's a long wait for me.

NZFW Kathryn Wilson

Images from Kathryn Wilson Debut show. All photo credit to Fashionz.

I have to say, I really like this shoe collection. My personal favourites would be Image 1 and 5, because of the shape of the shoe and the trendy laces. I love the collar type thing on Image 1 especially.

There is something for everybody in this shoe collection, all the styles are very exciting and appealing.
You can view the rest of the shoe gallery at
Fashionz.

They are all fantastic.

Follow me, to see other Images and from New Zealand fashion designers, and my opinion on them. Thankyou!

For now.

A little bit of this... a little bit of that...

I've been doing a bit of mix and matching lately.

Today I'm wearing military styled jacket, with a pink poofy skirt. The outfit turned out quite nice, especially with my tiny hat that I bought on a mall/movie trip with Nicole and Terri.

There was a sale at Jay Jays ( I got my little hat there) , so of course I had a snoop around. Whats your favourite style to mix and match with? I need some more ideas.

In other news, it was New Zealand fashion week a few weeks ago, but that is the subject of my next post. So Ta Ta For Now!

Ballet

Yeah, these photos are of my old ballet class before we did a recital and a photo I took of my ballet shoes. I was the smallest in the class so I'm the little shorty on the end. My mum took this photo and I edited it, I love it.
